Prepared For A Picnic
I feel like Summer has officially begun! How ’bout you? Sure, we are still schooling (and probably will at least three days out of the week all summer long). And yes, it’s still actually Spring. Summer is just in the air. In fact, we just got back from the beach! (May I recommend going to the beach the day AFTER Memorial Day? It was practically empty! Lovely!) Now that the weather is warm we will be cooking and eating outside as often as possible.
If you eat outside often you know how it goes: Take the food outside to the grill. Go back in for condiments and take those outside. Go back inside for plates and cups. Forget to take the tablecloth out, so go back inside for that. Take it outside, set the table. Realize that you don’t have forks. Go back inside. While you’re in their grab the salad and other food. Do the balancing act of getting it all outside. Repeat for ice, candles, buns, napkins, and cutting board.
Well, here at The Provision Room, we believe in being prepared. Not just for life’s emergencies, but for life itself! And that means we are prepared for Summer! Enter the Home Picnic Basket!
In this basket we put everything we need for eating outside, except the food! So, when we say, “It’s beautiful out! Let’s grill!” we simply grab the basket and head outside! When dinner is over the basket is restocked and repacked and sits ready for the next time!
