Say "Cheese!"

Hi this is Meg, Daja’s daughter! Today I am going to tell you about three different grilled cheese sandwiches I recently made.  Some variations you probably hadn’t thought of! Hope you enjoy them!

Caesar Salad Sandwich

  This is what you need:

One loaf of french bread, sliced

Some grated Parmesan cheese

One bottle of Caesar salad dressing

About five big tomatoes, cut into slices

One and a half a sticks of softened butter

And some roughly chopped anchovies

And here is what you do:

Slowly warm and grease a pan with butter.

Butter the outside of each slice of bread and spread  the dressing on the inside of each slice

Put on the tomato and then sprinkle the cheese on top of the tomato.

Then put the chunks of anchovies on top of the cheese and close.

Cook until the cheese is melted and the bread is all nice and toasty.

And there you have it, the Caesar salad sandwich.

 A Fontastic Basil Blueberry Sandwich!

And this is how you make it:

First you butter the outside and generously apply jam to the inside of each slice

Then add the slices of cheese and put the basil on top of the cheese

Grill on hot pan until the cheese is melted and the jam is nice and hot.

A Piece Of Cake Dessert Sandwich

To make it, this is what you need:

Two blocks of cream cheese

One sliced pound cake (I made it from scratch!)

And this is how you make it:

First you warm a pan

Then you generously spreed the cream cheese on the sliced pound cake,

Then drizzle the sweetened condensed milk on the cheese. Place on the pan and cook till warm and toasty.

Voila! You got your self a piece of cake dessert sandwich!

  1. Oh, Meggy!  I could just hug you!  These all sound fabulous!  Reminds me of when you, Saraa, and I went to that little grilled cheese and cereal restaurant!  Do you remember what we had?  I don’t remember the main sandwich, but I do remember the dessert one!

Miss Meg!  Do you know how fantabulous you are?!  Yes, character counts, but talent comes from God too 🙂  And you are growing in both.  I want to make this dessert sandwich, but I’m a little bit scared…I will need to pray for extra willpower to not eat the whole thing!  Thank you for posting.  You made my day a little bit sweeter 🙂
