Easter Menu Plans

Looking for a little inspiration for your Easter menu?  Why not try a couple of these fun ideas?

I’ve (Kristina here) decided to change things up a bit and serve Easter brunch right after church.  Most everything will be prepped before service and ready to dig in once we get home.  The rest of the day will be spent relaxing with family and friends just the way I like it!

Here’s my plan:

  • Cinnamon Baked French Toast
  • Mini Frittatas – Use your muffin tin to make miniature omelets with egg, chives, avocado, and cheese.
  • Bacon & Sausage
  • Fruit Salad
  • Muffins
  • Porto’s Potato Balls (If you live in Southern California, you have to try Porto’s Cuban Bakery at least once!)
  • Deviled Eggs
  • Orange juice for the kids and mimosas for the adults

Daja here. We always have the same breakfast for every Easter. It’s a Ta-da! type moment. Because we spend all weekend in a lot of silence and fasting. So Easter breakfast is a real treat! This year it will be more “Brunch” because won’t have it until after we get home from the early Mass.

  • Cherry Coffee Cake
  • Sausage and Eggs
  • Strawberries
  • Hot chocolate with whipped cream (for the kids)
  • Mimosas for the adults

Because I’m married to this Mongolian guy, we have to have meat on holidays—or it’s just not a holiday. So, after brunch I will put a brisket in the oven, that I will have marinated the night before. My 13 year old daughter will take care of the Challah and the dessert. And we’ll have some Greens Gratin (recipe in our cookbook. It is not to be missed!) and a fruit salad, too. Easy peasy. But, so delicious!

Have a blessed Easter everyone! HE IS RISEN!!!
