The Apron Brigade
“With her pretty hair tucked into a little cap, arms bared to the elbow, and a checked apronwhich had a coquettish look in spite of the bib,the young housewife fell to work, feeling no doubts about her success…”(Little Women)
Some superheroes wear capes. We wear aprons.
Here is where we let our hair down and get real. Here is where we’d like to invite you in for tea and scones. We’ll pull a little pot of jam from the Provision Room, lovingly preserved from the last harvest. We’ve been saving it especially for your visit. Pull up a chair and get comfortable. Introduce yourself to the other ladies. We have all the time in the world.
Come, let us have some tea and continue to talk about happy things.–Chaim Potok

Love all the aprons! We need a NATIONAL APRON DAY! Bring back the APRONS!!
There is a National Wear Your Apron Day! It’s always the Monday following Mother’s Day! Of course, it’s always Apron Day at my house!!!
I just read the artical about The Provision Room in the CV Weekly. I’m very interested in more info and how to contact you. I have a garden (small but mighty) and probably won’t be able to eat all the tomatoes that are going to come. Plus I’ve been wanting to start a community garden in CV .
So if someone would tell me more about it, that would be great!
Hi Lisa! Thanks for giving us a shout out! We have some resources you might be interested in so if you can email us your mailing address we can send them to you (theprovisionroom@gmail.com). Also, I (Kristina) would really be interested in talking about getting a community garden here in CV. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time!!
Ladies,
I have always wanted to learn how to make my own apron. If anyone would be willing to share their talents with us be certain that I would be the first to sign up. The pictures posted above show some great designs by the way.
In His Love,
Maria Elena
